Taking CAP around the world

Meetings and regional IDC workshops around alternatives to detention

The IDC launches the CAP model in all regions as well as in certain countries. The CAP model will be applied to the regional and national context. Apart from the public launches the IDC will organise training for members and engage in discussion with governments about alternatives to detention.

We hope that members and civil society will use these occasions to advocate the use of the Community Assessment and Placement model. Contact us if your organisation can take part in the launch in your country or region.  You find an overview here, more details will follow on this page and in our newsletter.
