Adrienn is the Europe Programme Officer for the IDC, based in Budapest, Hungary. She supports to set up the network of NGOs implementing alternatives to detention pilot projects and related advocacy.
She has years of experience as a social worker providing psycho-social support and counselling services for refugees. Besides the active social work she has been involved in several migration-related research projects using qualitative methods conducted by the UNHCR and the European Programme for Integration and Migration in the field of homelessness of refugees and unreturnable migrants in detention facilities and community shelters. She was also engaged with a research project aimed at mapping the sustainable policy solutions and rehabilitation services for torture victim and traumatised asylum-seekers and refugees in Hungary.
She graduated from ELTE University, Budapest, and holds a master’s degree in Social Policy.
