IDC Africa Members and supporters will join together in Banjul, the Gambia on the 5th of November to highlight the issue of the Immigration Detention of Children and to celebrate the Africa Launch of the new IDC research There Are Alternatives, 2nd Edition.
The event is planned as a side meeting to the 57th Session of the Africa Commission on Human and People’s Rights and the IDC looks forward to welcoming all participants to discuss this important issue and the way forward for Nations who are party to the Treaty, as well as those interested in ensuring the rights of all children and adults regardless of migration status.
