The IDC was pleased to be able to attend the ECRE annual general conference this year, where the plight of unreturnable migrants in detention was the focus of a workshop.
IDC members Flemish Refugee Action, Detention Action and France Terre D’Asile, along with Menedek and ECRE presented a joint project aimed at increasing public debate on the issue and putting pressure on governments to use detention as a last resort.
