Evan Jones works at Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network (APRRN) and is currently the Programme Coordinator based at the Secretariat in Bangkok, Thailand. He is a member of the IDC’s Governance and Finance Committee.

Evan graduated with a BA in European Studies and a MA in International Development Studies from the University of New South Wales in Australia. During Evan’s six years at APRRN he has been a core driver of the network’s advocacy and capacity-building initiatives across South Asia, East Asia, and Australia and New Zealand. He has also represented APRRN on numerous occasions across a range of international and regional forums both within and outside the region. Prior to his current position he spent five years working for the Australian government working in the field of international social security policy.
