This 52-year-old stateless man was born in Palestine but left Palestine when he was very young. He has lived in Italy for thirty-five years. He has been detained seven times. “I have not seen the sun for a month. Then they sent me back here again, and I did eight months in the center. They let me out and I went to sleep under bridges, then went to the hospital because I got sick. When I was released from the hospital, they took me again and put me in detention.”
