A seminar comprising around 60 academics, NGO practitioners and ex-detainees was held in London on February 1, 2013, beginning a series of interdisciplinary immigration detention seminars to be held in 2013 and 2014.
This seminar was focused on ‘supporting detainees’, with presentations from organisations supporting detainees as well as individuals with first-hand experience of Immigration Removal Centres.
