The IDC, in partnership with the Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network (APRRN) and the Indonesian Civil Society Network for Refugee Rights Protection (SUAKA) visited Jakarta from 18th to 20th September 2014 to conduct strategic planning and preparation for an immigration detention round table, anticipated to take place in November 2014.
IDC, APRRN and SUAKA also had productive discussions with the Indonesian Human Rights Commission (KOMNAS-HAM), UNHCR Indonesia and Mr. Rafendi Djamin, Indonesia’s representative to the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR).
