In other important news from the campaign- this year’s Day of General Discussion for the Committee on the Rights of the Child is focused on ‘The Rights of All Children in the Context of International Migration.’ It will take place in Geneva on 28 September, 2012 and will be an important event in which to highlight the issue of immigration detention of children.
The IDC would urge all members and associated groups to consider taking part or be involved in this event, in particular through submitting written submissions. See link below for further information provided by OHCHR. The campaign is planning a number of exciting initiatives to take place at this event. Contact Jeroen Van Hove for further information.
