Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Regional Coordinator

IDC is currently recruiting a MENA Regional Coordinator to work collaboratively with key staff and stakeholders to develop and implement advocacy strategies in the MENA region. MENA regional strategies will focus on influencing law, policy and practice to reduce immigration detention and implement rights-based alternatives to detention, aiming to ultimately end the use of immigration detention. This role involves working with IDC members and key partners to develop strong advocacy strategies, as well as engaging with governments, local authorities, civil society, UN institutions and other key stakeholders in the region.

  • Based in the MENA region, a strong preference for Tunisia 
  • Must have working knowledge of Arabic and/or French
  • 54,000 to 58,000 Australian Dollars (AUD) per year
