Curriculum Community Leadership for migrant children and adolescents

This document complements initiatives aimed at supporting refugee and migrant community leadership, especially as it relates to children and adolescents.

It´s content is adapted from the core community leadership curriculum developed by IDC in collaboration with a team of community organizers and educators, based on interviews with refugee leaders, activists and staff of civil society organizations. The curriculum was piloted with adult refugee women in Malaysia and refugee children and adolescents in Thailand. Based on the achievements and lessons learned from these experiences, a Spanish version was developed and adapted, aimed specifically at migrant children and adolescents in the Americas.
