Around 600,000 stateless persons live in Europe today, including many migrants stuck in perpetual limbo.
“Stateless” is the term used for those who are not recognised as belonging to any state.
These populations are at high risk of being detained.
The European Statelessness Network has organised a petition urging the European Parliament to act now.
