A coalition of IDC members and other key actors in Israel continue work to end child detention this month, with the release of a new awareness raising tool, this latest Israel campaign video resource.
The campaign in Israel has taken the approach of seeking common ground and shared interests between government, civil society and refugees & migrants to find practical solutions and ensure that children & families are not detained for immigration purposes.
Along with public awareness raising and campaign work, the coalition of NGOs continues to seek audience with government officials to highlight the National Action Plan which contains a concrete strategy to end the immigration detention of children in Israel.
