In November, the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACERWC) held their 26th Session in Addis Ababa along with a conference on the 25th anniversary of the African Children’s Charter.
The IDC would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Committee on a quarter century of dedicated work to uphold the rights of African and Migrant Children throughout the continent and express our solidarity with them in ensuring Children’s Rights to Liberty under International and African Law(s) are complied with.
