Nataliya Novakova joined IDC as Europe Regional Manager in 2024. She has over a decade experience of working on development, human rights, conflict, humanitarian response, forced displacement and migration, with particular focus on policy and advocacy.

Prior to joining IDC, Nataliya has worked with Open Society Foundations, German Marshall Fund, People in Need, Norwegian Refugee Council, Minority Rights Group Europe among other organizations in Europe and Central Asia region. Nataliya holds PhD in Political Science from Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University and MPA from Central European University.

Nataliya is based in Berlin, Germany.
